Rotterdam's former city hall was completely transformed by tB3 into 420 rental apartments after a long vacancy. In October 2018, we started renovating the subfloors and laying 14 dB reducing PVC flooring. Because a flat and tight anhydrite floor was installed, our loose lay PVC floor could be laid directly over the subfloor. This allowed us to save a substantial item on leveling costs.
One of the biggest challenges in this project was, of course, the amount of meters that had to be carried out within a fixed schedule. In addition, transporting all the materials with only two available elevators was a daily challenge. Good consultation with the supervisors on site was indispensable. Because the loose lay PVC floors were cut to size by us, almost no service was required by us after completion. Indeed, any handyman within this project could properly maintain/repair the PVC.
We are extremely proud of the cooperation with tB3 and the opportunity they have given us within this wonderful project. So you see, no challenge is too big for us! Do you also have such a nice challenge lying around? Don't hesitate to contact us.
