Courtesy of Magis Vastgoed, ICM Projects was able to play a role in the transformation of a former office building into 200 apartments and studios in apartment complex FiftyOne in Arnhem. The tenants of this location will also have access to various public facilities such as a gym, yoga studio, work spaces and even a cinema.
During the execution of this project we were able to show our best side. We had several challenges; for example, there was only one elevator present while we were working with many workmen at the same time, and the existing subfloors were in very bad shape. Before we could level them, we first repaired them. Then we fitted the 200-plus apartments with loose lay PVC strips, the general corridors were carpeted and the various outdoor areas were fitted with PMMA. But that's not all, in the gym we made a sports floor. Cool to be able to use so many different techniques in one project.
